energy right ® - The energy right ® Program from CEMC and TVA is designed to help you save money and gain efficiency in your home energy usage. Here’s how we can help:

Heat Pump Loan Program – In cooperation with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), low-interest 
loans are available to consumers who qualify for installation of a heat pump in a residence that has 
had permanent electric service for one year. Click here for details.


New Homes Program – This program offers assistance to customers in the planning of energy-
efficient, all-electric new homes. Areas addressed are air infiltration, heating and cooling equipment,
insulation, ventilation and water heating. Cash incentives are paid for homes built to program
standards.

One of the services we offer is the sale of electrical permits at our Clarksville, Dover, Springfield, and Gallatin district offices. Click here for more information.

reen Power Switch - CEMC now offers Green Power Switch®.  The "green" refers to renewability. It is power generated by renewable resources like wind, solar, and landfill gas. You use it today, it comes back tomorrow, like a growing plant. This program is designed for our customers who want to use renewable energy resources to help improve the environment in the community we all share. Green Power Switch® can be purchased in 150 kilowatt-hour blocks at $4 per block. Learn more about Green Power Switch® by clicking this item.  Then, call 931-645-2481 to sign-up. 


HVAC Sizing Recommendations
– Residential electric heating and cooling loads can be calculated to determine what size HVAC system should be recommended. Operating cost comparisons for different types of heating and cooling systems are also available upon request.

Levelized Payment Program This program calculates your electric bill based on an average of your last 12 monthly payments. Your bill will fluctuate slightly, but never more than $10-$20. All residential members with 12 months continuous service are eligible to sign up.

Life Support – Customers who depend on life support equipment may be identified on a priority list for notification of planned power outages.

Project Help – This is a voluntary program for consumers to contribute a dollar or more each month to help the needy with their energy bills.

Security Lights – The installation and maintenance of various types of security lighting is available for a monthly rental fee. Click here for more information on ordering a Security Light.

The Tennessee Magazine – This consumer publication is mailed monthly to all residential consumers. A five-page “CEMC News” section is written specifically for our members.
