Levelized
Payment Program - The monthly payment is based on the
residential customer’s average usage for the previous twelve
months in that location.
HVAC Sizing
Recommendations - Residential electric heating & cooling
loads can be calculated to determine what size HVAC system
should be recommended. Operating cost comparisons for different
types of heating & cooling systems are also available upon
request.
Heat Pump
Loan Program - In cooperation with the Tennessee Valley
Authority (TVA), low-interest loans are available to consumers
that qualify for an installation of a heat pump in a residence
that has had permanent electric service for one year.
Water Heater
Program – A $50 bill credit will be awarded to members who
purchase a new replacement electric water heater for their home.
Information &
Questions - Brochures and information on electric appliances
and energy conservation are available upon request from the
Member Services Department.
Life Support
– Members who depend on life support equipment may be identified
on a priority list for notification of planned power outages.
New Homes Program
- This program offers assistance to members in the planning of
energy-efficient, all-electric new homes. Areas addressed are
air infiltration, heating and cooling equipment, insulation,
ventilation and water heating. Cash incentives are paid for
homes built to program standards.
Project Help
- This is a voluntary program for those wishing to contribute a
dollar or more each month to help pay the energy bills of
persons in need of financial assistance.
Security Light
- The installation and maintenance of various types of security
lighting is available for a monthly rental fee.

- This monthly publication is mailed to all residential members.
A five-page "CEMC News" section is written specifically for our
members.

- MECO electric grills are available for our members to order.
