Electronic
Funds Transfer Plan. The most convenient way to pay is by
the monthly electronic funds transfer plan. Each month the
amount of your electric bill will be transferred automatically
from your checking account to CEMC by an electronic transaction.
The actual transfer will occur on the due date of your bill.
Your bank will itemize the automatic debit on your statement
each month. CEMC will continue to send you a bill each month
marked "To be Paid by Automated Debit." You can get an
authorization form from your local CEMC office.
By mail.
Another convenient payment method is by mail. CEMC includes an
envelope for this purpose with your bill. Please use it. Be sure
to enclose the bill stub to ensure that we credit the correct
account. Mail only a check or money order; do not send cash.
Payment must be received on or before due date.
In person.
Some customers prefer to come to the office to pay in person.
The offices are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m.
By credit
card. Visit the CEMC Web site: www.cemc.org, or call
1-800-987-2362.
By night
depository. CEMC offices have night depositories for making
payments after hours. If you use a night depository, be sure to
use only a check or money order and include your bill stub in
the envelope. Deadline is 4 p.m. on due date.
By
collection agencies. Payment may be made at an authorized
collection agency. The bill must be presented and the correct
amount must be paid. Deadline for discount payment is 2 days
prior to due date.
