Member Appreciation Days returning this spring
Plans are being made for the 2008 version of Member
Appreciation Days throughout the Cumberland Electric Membership
Corporation service area.
Member
Appreciation Days started last year as CEMC employees and board
members visited each of the six district business offices
serving hotdogs, chips, cookies and soft drinks to member-owners
of the cooperative. Several hundred members were happy to accept
the offer of a free lunch and a cookbook which were distributed
at each location.
This year, an
additional stop is being planned in White House, which is the
location of a satellite office in the Portland District.
The tentative
schedule for this year’s Member Appreciation Days is:
Tuesday, April 22 - White House;
Wednesday, April 23 - Gallatin;
Thursday, April 24 - Clarksville;
Monday, April 28 - Springfield;
Wednesday, April 30 - Portland;
Thursday, May 1 - Ashland City;
Friday, May 2 - Dover.
